2010/2011 Team Tennis Sign Ups

Calling all former or interested tennis players! The 2009/2010 team tennis season begins in September. FYC will once again field Men’s and Ladies’ teams at all levels. FYC 2010 Doubles Club Championships!

September 29th - October 1st, Finals on October 8th

Divisions: Men’s 9.0(A), 8.0(B), 7.0(C1), 6.0(C2) Ladies’ 8.0(A), 7.0(B), 6.0(C), 5.5(D)

Format: Matches will be 2 out of 3 sets. Tournament draw with 1st round consolation. Divisions with 4 teams or less will play a Round Robin.

Schedule of Events:Wednesday, September 29th thru Friday, October 1st matches begin at 6:45 pm. On Friday, October 8th at 6:00 pm is the Players Party/Pro Exhibition. Finals begin at 6:45 pm!

Cost: $60 per team Includes beer, Gatorade, the Players’ Party and Awards

Entry Deadline:September 25th, 2010

New Tiny Tots Class:

Get your future tennis star started in one of our Tiny Tots classes! By popular demand, we are offering an additional class on Friday. Tiny Tots are ages 3-5 years old. The schedule for Tiny Tots is now Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 2:45 – 3:30 pm. Call the pro shop for more details (904) 389-4281

USTA 2010 Junior Team Tennis

We are currently putting together teams to enter in the USTA Spring League. Sign-up and put all of that practice during the week into action on Friday afternoons as we compete against other area clubs.

Who: We are looking for individuals ages 10, 12, 14 and 18. There will be beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.

When: Friday afternoons at 4:30 pm

Format: Each team will field four singles and two doubles matches and will be an eight game pro set.
