2025 Welaka Cruise
July 17th - 20th
Grab your anchors and fenders and join us in Welaka for some cool 75 degree spring water!Members are encouraged to find their own place to stay. Check out Riverbend, Sportsman Lodge, Welaka Lodge, and other short-term rental websites.Thursday, July 17th
- We will depart FYC around 10am to head down the river. Stop for lunch and a weather check at Corky Bells. If the afternoon thunderstorms arrive, they have a bar to hang out in. We will have pool time upon arrival.
- We plan to head to Silver Glen to avoid the weekend crowds. Grill out at Riverbend to follow and more pool time.
- We plan to cruise to Salt Run. May have a run over to Renegades on our way back from the spring for some of Welaka’s own “baby beers”. Saturday night we will have dinner at the world famous (not really) Shrimps R Us. The food and drink are good, and last year we got to sing to the local folks during karaoke, lol. Following Dinner, we have a Jacksonville band coming down to play for us again, The Mosquitos! If you saw them last year, you know you don't want to miss it! They will play at The Log Cabin.
- Head back to the club. May do lunch at Corky Bells, or Outback Crab Shack.
