2026 Welaka Cruise

July 16th - 19th

Grab your anchors and fenders and join us in Welaka for some cool 75 degree spring water! Members are encouraged to find their own place to stay. Check out Riverbend, Sportsman Lodge, Welaka Lodge, and other short-term rental websites.

Thursday, July 16th
 
  • We will depart FYC around 10am to head down the river. Stop for lunch and a weather check at Corky Bells. If the afternoon thunderstorms arrive, they have a bar to hang out in. We will have pool time upon arrival.
Friday, July 17th
 
  • We plan to head to Silver Glen to avoid the weekend crowds. Grill out at Riverbend to follow and more pool time.
Saturday, July 18th
 
  • We plan to cruise to... TBD! Normally would run to Salt Run but have gotten word that they have roped off parts on the anchoring area and it has gotten very shallow getting into the creek entrance. May have a run over to Renegades in the afternoon for some of Welaka’s own “baby beers”. Saturday night we will have dinner at the world famous Shrimps R Us.
Sunday, July 19th
 
  • Head back to the club. May do lunch at Corky Bells, or Outback Crab Shack. Hope to see you in the springs!
